This final empirical chapter, Chapter 5, examines the hypotheses about how the content of the Court’s decision affects support for the Court (Change in Support for the Court Hypothesis, Town of Residence/Support for Court Interaction). The analysis in this chapter is conducted at the individual level using multivariate regression techniques with change in support for the Court as the dependent variable.
