If they are not looking forward to the group task, ask them what they might do to improve the situation, whether it be make the best of it or turn it around to be a worthwhile experience. If they are looking forward to it, agree that they will let you know if they begin to feel otherwise. You want to maintain morale and nip problems in the bud. Deciding How to Decide When you and your group members formulate ground rules for working together, you can establish how you will make decisions.
