Even though we don't have to suffer, we still need to understand suffering. The Buddha taught that the type of suffering varies according to the different realms of existence in samsara. For example, humans and animals experience suffering differently.
There is no beginning either. Because we abhor suffering, we want to be free of it. But it will never happen unless we work on a proper solution or practice. Because of impermanence, it follows then that liberation from suffering should be our main objective. We must stop wasting time. It is not difficult to see the suffering of samsara.
